One Father Ryan Senior Named National Merit Finalist

Finn Saivar from the Class of 2025 has been named a National Merit Finalist by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. He was previously named a Semi-Finalist in September 2024.

National Merit Finalists were selected from a nationwide group of 16,000 Semi-Finalists, representing less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors.

"Father Ryan and my teachers prepared me for the future by always expecting the best of me. They challenged me to put maximum effort into everything I did, even in the smallest details. I know the work ethic they developed in me will help me continue to succeed after high school," said Finn Saivar.

Finn is taking four AP courses as a Senior and has completed three additional AP courses since coming to Father Ryan from Loyola High School in California as a Sophomore. He is a member of Trinity House, played on the Football Team, is a Peer Mentor, and is a member of the Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society, the National Honor Society, and Model UN. Additionally, he serves as a Student Ambassador and as a Minister of Holy Communion.

Congratulations to Finn on this impressive accomplishment and for being a wonderful example of the Father Ryan mission as he strives to reach his spiritual, academic, and personal potential!
