The Irish Track and Field team had a successful end to the 2026 season, claiming 4 State Titles and setting three school records! Caroline Perri '26 saw the top of the podium three times, winning the titles for the Girls 400m Dash (55.57 *New School Record), Long Jump (18-11.25), and Pentathlon (3,765 points). Ryder Ortner also joined Caroline at the top, claiming the title for the Boys 800m Dash with a time of 1:50.38, setting both a new school and meet record--as well as running the 4th fastest time in Tennessee state history.
The Irish also saw record-breaking performances in three other events:
