At this year's Language Honor Society inductions, 15 students were inducted into the Latin Honor Society, sponsored by Mr. Bobby Huddleston, 30 students into the Father Ryan Chapter of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica, sponsored by Mrs. Paola Partlow, and six students into the Société Honoraire de Français, sponsored by Mr. Sven Oelhafen.
Students qualified for these societies through outstanding academic achievement reflected in 3 semesters of honors or high honors level work in one of these languages. New members received certificates of their achievement and various gifts, such as honor cords and medals, and they repeated an oath in their language of study, pledging to further their commitment to language acquisition. We are so proud of our students’ commitment to learning these languages and furthering their education!
