“I am pleased to welcome these outstanding individuals to the Board of Trustees,” Davis said. “Each of them has demonstrated a strong commitment to the school and a deep belief in our mission. In addition, they bring broad professional experience and community involvement that make Father Ryan even stronger. That combination provides enhanced perspective and valuable leadership for the school. I look forward to working with these new members and all of the board as we continue to advance our mission to be an experience of the living Gospel while challenging students to reach their spiritual, academic, and personal potential.”
Davis also thanked board members Tom Bauer and Tom Turner, who are retiring from the board, for their service.
“Both of these individuals have served Father Ryan well, as parents of alumni and as dedicated board members, Tom Bauer for 12 years and Tom Turner for nine years,” Davis said. “Their voices have been valuable ones for this school during a major period of growth and development, and I thank them for all they have done for Father Ryan.”
As Senior Vice President and Chief External & League Affairs Officer for the Tennessee Titans, Birch leads strategic initiatives in community impact, government relations, external affairs, and league relations. Before joining the Titans in 2020, he spent more than two decades in senior leadership with the National Football League, overseeing labor policy, league-wide regulatory and compliance matters, player and employee development, and multiple strategic programs that helped to shape the modern NFL. He holds a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and an undergraduate degree from Harvard University. Adolpho serves on numerous civic and nonprofit boards, including the Vanderbilt Board of Trust, the Sports Lawyers Association, and the Nashville Police + Public Safety Alliance, among others.
Fisch oversees all facets of accounting, financial reporting and analysis, strategic planning, capital markets, underwriting, investor relations, and technology for the company and its nationwide projects as Chief Financial Officer at Southern Land Company, a privately held, full-service real estate development firm. Over the course of his career, he has worked at leading firms including KPMG, Houlihan Lokey, and Guggenheim Securities. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Fisch earned an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia and a BA in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He and his wife, Lisa (Rodgers) ’91, are the parents of four Father Ryan alumni. He and his family are parishioners of St. Matthew Catholic Church
Henry has been with the Predators since September 2010 as Alternate Governor, but assumed the role as CEO in December 2015. Previously, he served for 11 years as the Executive Vice President and COO of the Tampa Bay Lightning, two years as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing with Unity Motion, and 14 years with Volume Services Inc., where he worked with the Detroit Pistons, St. Louis Rams, and the Washington Redskins. He serves on the boards of the Nashville Predators Foundation, YWCA of Nashville and Middle Tennessee, Nashville Downtown Partnership, Nashville Sports Council, Nashville Chamber of Commerce, the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, and The Sports Fund. He and his wife, Tracey, are the parents of three Father Ryan alumni. He and his family are parishioners of St. Matthew.
As Director of Family Office at Equitable Trust Company in Nashville, Emily helps families navigate the complexity of their financial lives. Before joining Equitable Trust in 2020, she worked at Keel Point, LLC, a multi-family office based outside of Washington, D.C. She served as Board Chair of the Nashville Children's Theatre from 2018 to 2020. Emily graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Economics. A native Nashvillian, she is a parent of two Father Ryan alumni and one current student. She and her family are members of Saint Henry Catholic Church.
Director of Marketing and Communications: Michael Scholl
Father Ryan High School is proud to welcome Mr. Michael Scholl as the new Director of Marketing and Communications, effective immediately. Scholl brings more than a decade of experience in strategic communications, media relations, and community engagement across major collegiate and professional sports organizations.
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Scholl holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He and his wife, Abby, a 2005 Father Ryan graduate, and their three children are parishioners at St. Henry Catholic Church in Nashville.
Scholl most recently served as Senior Manager of Communications & Community Relations for Penske Entertainment, owner of the annual INDYCAR race weekend in Nashville, where he orchestrated public relations, paid marketing, and community engagement efforts. Under his leadership, the event saw a 300% increase in earned media placements and a nearly 250% increase in reach, resulting in ad value exceeding $6.5 million.
“I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to join the Father Ryan community,” Scholl said. “With first-hand experience in Catholic education, I understand the tremendous impact it can have on young people. I look forward to telling the story of how Father Ryan helps students reach their spiritual, academic, and personal potential.”
Previously, Scholl held senior roles at Vanderbilt University, where he was promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Communications. He led communications strategies for the football program, coordinated major events including media days and bowl games, and executed campaigns that garnered national recognition. Scholl’s innovative approach contributed to record-breaking website traffic and earned him the College Sports Communicators ChangeMaker Innovation Award for a student-athlete mental health awareness campaign.
Scholl's career also includes impactful positions at Western Michigan University, where he managed communications, fan engagement, and video departments, and the University of Notre Dame, where he led communications efforts for the football, baseball and women’s tennis programs at times during his tenure. He also supported the broader campus community at Notre Dame during the COVID-19 pandemic, coordinating communications for the Student Activities Office and serving on the COVID Care and Concern Team.
Scholl’s career included athletics communications roles at the University of Cincinnati and Providence College, and during his undergraduate studies, he was selected from a national pool to join the Frank and Peggy Steele Internship Program at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, New York.
Head of Oak House: Ashlee Doyle
Father Ryan High School is proud to announce that Mrs. Ashlee Doyle, mathematics teacher and Varsity Softball Head Coach, will become the school's new Head of Oak House on July 1, 2026.
Campus Chaplain: Father Christian Hamrick '17
Father Ryan High School is pleased to welcome Father Christian Hamrick '17 as our new Chaplain. Father Hamrick will also serve as Chaplain at Camp Marymount, Associate Pastor of St. Ignatius Church in Antioch, and is in residence at St. Edward Church.
Father Hamrick was born in Nashville and attended St. Edward School and Father Ryan High School before graduating from the Pontifical North American College in Rome. He was ordained by Bishop Spalding on August 9, 2025.
