Connie Steinmetz has been the Chief Financial Officer for Father Ryan since 2007. As CFO, she oversees all financial activities and reporting for the school and the operation's more than $21 million annual budget. She came to Ryan after five years as the Chief Financial Officer for the Stewart Smith Group, an insurance and financial services company in Charlotte, NC, with over 235 employees and $85 million in annual revenues. Prior to that position, she worked with the Willis Group from 1991-2000 as a regional finance officer, controller, and principal auditor. Steinmetz has also spent time as a manager with KPMG Peat Marwick.
A member of a number of academic and business honor societies, she graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. She has served at St. Matthew School in Nashville as Schools Finance Committee chair and on the parish Finance Committee as secretary. She and her husband, Chuck, are the parents of two children, Ashley (’12) and Travis (‘15).
