Theology

The Father Ryan Theology Department seeks to enhance students’ knowledge of God and His revelation in Jesus Christ while examining their personal relationship with Him and discerning how best to serve Him. Through the study of Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and various other documents, as well as examination and discussion of case studies, film, real-world scenarios, etc., and a service-learning curriculum, students are challenged to grow in faith and knowledge. The Theology Department works closely with Campus Ministry to provide students with meaningful experiences both on and off campus throughout their four years in service, Mass, retreats, leadership opportunities, mission trips, and more.
