    Marisol Preston, Director of Admissions, first joined the Father Ryan family in 2015, after spending many years as a teacher and administrator at schools across the country.

    Mrs. Preston came to Middle Tennessee from Jacksonville, FL, where she spent four years working in the Admissions Office at Jacksonville University. She became the Chief Admissions Officer at the university in 2013, after serving as the Senior Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions in 2012 and the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions in 2011.

    Prior to that, Mrs. Preston worked as a Foreign Language Teacher at the Episcopal High School of Jacksonville from 2009 to 2011. She travelled to Jacksonville after spending a year instructing Spanish in Brunswick, GA, for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center’s Immigration Customs Enforcement Department of Removal Operations Academy.

Erin (Baltz) Riggs '00

    Erin Riggs '00 returned to Father Ryan in 2014 as Associate Director of Admissions with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master's of Science in Teacher Education. She is certified to teach U.S. History, World History, Government and Economics.

    Before returning to Father Ryan, Mrs. Riggs served as the Admissions' Office Enrollment Manager at Pope John Paul II High School. In addition to this, Erin has served as a classroom teacher who taught AP Macroeconomics and was also a key member of the team who developed and implemented the Ancient Legacies curriculum; emphasizing critical thinking and writing skills.

    Mrs. Riggs holds certification with the American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Administrators and coached the JPII cheerleading team for many years. In this capacity, she was nominated as the TSSAA Cheerleading Coach of the Year.

Meet Your Student Ambassadors

This elite group of young men and women are the official representatives of Father Ryan High School. They represent more than 19 sports and 40 different clubs and organizations. In addition to their studies, athletics and activities, they volunteer at 20+ different non-profit organizations throughout the city such as Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Catholic Charities, Nashville Humane Association and West Meade Nursing Home.

These students represent the many different opportunities offered to Father Ryan students and embody our long-standing traditions of Faith, Knowledge and Service. Most importantly, they are ready and willing to answer any questions you might have and show you why the Father Ryan experience is unlike any other.
