Coach Robin Dieterich '73 Honored with Lifetime Achievement Award

Congratulations to teacher and coach Robin Dieterich ’73, who will be honored Friday night by The Tennessean with the Fred Russell Lifetime Achievement Award at the paper’s annual Sports Awards.   The award is named for legendary sportswriter and author Fred Russell and honors an individual who has made lasting contributions to sports. Coach Dieterich, who was inducted into the TSSAA Hall of Fame last year, was part of two Irish State Championship Soccer Teams while a student and has led the girls and boys squads to a combined nine titles as coach.

In addition, Will Turner ’19 is a Finalist for Athlete of the Year for Boys Soccer.
Congratulations to both of these Irish standouts. We look forward to the celebration on Friday night.
