There's nothing quite like taking a weekend to travel back to your old stomping grounds and hang out with your former classmates. Sharing stories about your lives now and reminiscing about your time at Father Ryan is priceless time well spent. 

Finding the time to reconnect can be difficult, but we try to make it as easy as possible! Throughout the year, we have a variety of events that we host in order to get alumni back together. 

From Homecoming in the Fall to Reunion Parties in June, there's something for everybody! Check out some of the different activities we have going on this year below.

  • Homecoming

    Each Fall we host Homecoming, which is an amazing oportunity to kick-off the school year with fun for the whole family. Click here for details about our 2020 Homecoming on Friday, Ocotober 16!

    Generations of Irish alumni come out to enjoy not only the Football game, but also our Pride in the Pit BBQ contest, live entertainment, play areas for children, and the honoring of our Golden Grads, the class celebrating their 50th Reunion that year. 

    Homecoming is a great place to reconnect with fellow Irish alumni and meet their families!

  • Lou Graham '56 Golf Tournament

    Named in honor of 1975 U.S. Open Champion Lou Graham '56, this annual golf tournament takes place on reunion weekend at Gaylord Springs Golf Links and is always a fantastic time. 

    A great way to get in the "swing" of reunion weekend, the Lou Graham '56 Tournament is a must-attend for all of our Irish alums who like to golf.

    Hosted by the Alumni Association, proceeds from the event benefit tuition assistance for children and grandchildren of alumni.

  • Veterans Breakfast

    Every year on or around Veterans Day, Father Ryan hosts our veterans in our community to honor their service and sacrifice to our great country. 

    Delicious food, moving performances by the Father Ryan Singers, and inspirational speakers always serve to make this event a memorable one. 

    Our next Veterans Breakfast will be on November 6, 2020.

  • Reunion Weekend

    Reunion Weekend will celebrate alumni in classes ending in 1s and 6s with events from June 4-6, 2021. This action-packed weekend includes the Lou Graham '56  Golf Tournament, Alumni Reception, Class Reunion Parties and the Golden Grad Mass, Induction Ceremony for the Class of 1971 and a Brunch.

  • Young Alumni Lunch

    Every year around Christmastime, we host our college-age alumni and senior class for the Young Alumni & Senior Lunch. This is a great chance for alums to visit with their friends, classmates and former teachers while sharing their college experiences with the seniors. 

    This year's Young Alumni and Senior Lunch is on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 11:30am in the Dining Hall.

  • Golden Grads

    Every year we honor the Golden Grads - those who are celebrating or have celebrated their 50th Reunion.

    On Sunday, June 6, 2021, the Alumni Association will host these special alumni and their guests at are annual Golden Grad Mass at 10:00am in the Center for the Arts. Following Mass, the Class of 1970 and 1971 will be inducted into the Golden Grad Society. 

    This year, due to the pandemic, only alumni from the Classes of 1970 and 1971 are invited and each person may bring one guest.
