  • 8th Grade Parent Pre-Game Reception - September 10, 2021

    Join us for an 8th Grade Parent Reception before our Varsity football game v. Cane Ridge High School. Come meet other 8th grade parents and members of our Father Ryan community as we come together to cheer on the Irish.
     
    This event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and conclude at kickoff where we will then proceed to the stands.

    Please note: This reception is held inside the Jim Carell Athletic Complex. You will need to purchase a game day ticket to enter the stadium.

  • Academic Blend - September 23, 2021

    Please join us on campus as we present an in-depth look into Father Ryan’s curriculum for parents of eighth graders. You will have the opportunity to tour our newly renovated Academic building, observe classes in session, and meet members of our Senior Staff. This event will occur from 9:15-10:45am.

  • Junior Irish Night - October 1, 2021

    Get your costumes ready, Junior Irish, and make plans to join us for our outdoor Junior Irish Night on Friday, October 1 from 5:00-7:00pm on our campus's Academic Lawn.

    Here's the schedule for the evening:

    5:00pm
    : Junior Irish Night opens, and Junior Irish are invited to come in Halloween costumes, Father Ryan gear, or dress Hawaiian, our theme announced by the Jungle, our Father Ryan student section.  There will also be swag bags with Father Ryan gear, carnival and lawn games, a DJ, and more!

    6:35pm: Line up with our Student Body as the Marching Band leads them across the bridge to Giacosa Stadium to cheer on the Irish!

    Please note: Parent(s) will need to purchase a gameday ticket to enter the stadium. All children who are registered for Junior Irish Night will receive free admission to the game.

  • Preview Day - October 24, 2021

    We have reached capacity and will not be allowing walk-ups for this event.

    Father Ryan High School’s 2021 Preview Day will be Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 12:30pm to 4:00pm.

    Please join our family of students, educators, parents, and alumni for a preview of the Father Ryan experience. Tour our campus, attend classes, join sessions on Academics and our House System, visit our clubs and activities fair, and watch a Performing Arts Showcase. Discover how Father Ryan is setting a new standard in Catholic education where your child will be known and loved.

    Our program begins at 1:00pm in the Center for the Arts with opening remarks along with a performing arts showcase. Doors open for registration and check in at 12:30pm.
  • Open Visit Day - October 28, 2021

    Our Open Visit Day is offered for any current eighth grade student who does not visit Father Ryan with their current school. Please join us on campus for an opportunity to experience a day in the life of a Father Ryan student.

    Our Open Visit day begins with drop-off between 8:15-8:30am and ends at 1:45pm. Lunch will be provided. Drop-off and pick-up will be in the Cloister Building (Main Office).

    As you enter campus, you will see a brick sign that says "Father Ryan High School." Please turn right at this sign. The building on your left is our Cloister Building (Main Office). You may park anywhere in the half circle in front of this building.

    Boys should wear nice pants and a button down shirt or polo shirt. Girls should wear nice pants, or a skirt (of modest length), polo or blouse. Jeans, shorts, mini-skirts, ripped pants, tank tops, sneakers, etc., are not permitted. Students may choose to wear their own school uniform if they wish.

  • Irish Information Series - Virtual - Begins October 28, 2021

    The Irish Information Series includes four virtual sessions for prospective parents about life at Father Ryan on Thursdays from October 28-November 18, 2021.

  • Irish Game Night - November 19, 2021

    Father Ryan is excited to invite all 8th graders to Irish Game Night. Join us for an evening of fun, food and games. During Irish Game Night, you have the option to choose which Irish counties you would like to visit.

    It all takes place this Friday, November 19 in the Catignani-Drennan Fieldhouse from 6:00-7:30pm. Doors open at 5:45pm.

    The Irish Game Night counties will include: video game truck, gotcha, volleyball, party games, dance area, photo booth, pizza, cookies, and more!

  • Parochial School Visit Day

    Father Ryan invites each surrounding Partner School to schedule a day for their 8th grade classes to visit and experience our campus, attend classes, receive tours from Student Ambassadors, and meet our Faculty & Staff.
  • Campus Tours - Year Round

    We look forward to welcoming prospective families to our campus for in-person tours, come and personally experience Father Ryan!

  • Shadow Days - Year Round

    Shadow Days provide prospective students with an opportunity to spend time with a Father Ryan student and discover what a typical day is like. Seeing Father Ryan during the school day opens your eyes to the possibilities and infinite opportunities available to your son or daughter. It also allows your child to experience first-hand the kind and nurturing environment at Father Ryan High School - something mere words could never do. We look forward to introducing our community to you.
