  • September 1 - Father Ryan Distance Classic

    Father Ryan Distance Classic
    4th-8th Grade

    Giacosa Stadium
    Registration begins at 4:30pm, and the first race begins at 5:30pm.
    4th-6th grade will race 800 meters, and 7th-8th grade will race 1600 meters. Runners are asked to wear their cross country uniforms. No entry fee required. Winners will be announced and honored at the October 7 home football game!

  • September 18-19 - Irish Ruggerfest

    Irish Ruggerfest
    September 18-19, 2021
    Giacosa Stadium

    Father Ryan will host its second Irish Ruggerfest the weekend of September 18-19. This event will feature rugby matches on Saturday from 9:00am-4:00pm and Sunday from 10:00am-2:00pm. Rugby teams of all skill levels, both boys and girls, will compete, from middle school to adult teams. Of course, your Father Ryan Irish boys’ and girls’ teams will compete against clubs from across the Southeast!

  • October 1 - Junior Irish Night

    Please note: All are welcome to attend Junior Irish Night. However, all swag bags have been reserved.

    Get your costumes ready, Junior Irish, and make plans to join us for our outdoor Junior Irish Night on Friday, October 1 from 5:00-7:00pm on our campus's Academic Lawn.

    Here's the schedule for the evening:

    : Junior Irish Night opens, and Junior Irish are invited to come in Halloween costumes, Father Ryan gear, or dress Hawaiian, our theme announced by the Jungle, our Father Ryan student section.  There will also be swag bags with Father Ryan gear, carnival and lawn games, a DJ, and more!

    6:35pm: Line up with our Student Body as the Marching Band leads them across the bridge to Giacosa Stadium to cheer on the Irish!

    Please note: Parent(s) will need to purchase a gameday ticket to enter the stadium. All children who are registered for Junior Irish Night will receive free admission to the game.

  • October 23 - Nashville Catholic Baseball Tryouts

    Nashville Catholic Baseball was established in 2004 to give seventh and eighth grade students the opportunity to compete with the top middle school baseball teams each spring. Over 18 seasons, hundreds of student-athletes have played for Nashville Catholic, many advancing to the high school and college baseball ranks.

    Tryouts for the 2022 spring roster will be held on Saturday, October 23. All seventh and eighth grade students are welcome to participate. Registration closes on October 16. Additional details will be provided following registration.

  • October 24 - Preview Day

    We have reached capacity and will not be allowing walk-ups for this event.

    12:30pm to 4:00pm

    Please join our family of students, educators, parents, and alumni for a preview of the Father Ryan experience. Tour our campus, attend classes, join sessions on Academics and our House System, visit our clubs and activities fair, and watch a Performing Arts Showcase. Discover how Father Ryan is setting a new standard in Catholic education where your child will be known and loved.

    Our program begins at 1:00pm in the Center for the Arts with opening remarks along with a performing arts showcase. Doors open for registration and check in at 12:30pm.

  • November 1 - Irish Soccer Academy

    Irish Soccer Academy
    5th-8th Grade
    November 1 - 30; Mondays and Wednesdays

    Father Ryan High School

    The primary goal of Irish Soccer Academy is to help youth players prepare for high school soccer. We believe the Irish Soccer Academy will allow each player to create solid fundamentals and lasting relationships, while building a culture of good character and sportsmanship. Our identity will surround the importance of competing with heart, integrity, and unity always. Our vision is focused on the process and striving for excellence each day.

    Trainings and Clinics will occur on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00pm starting November 1 through November 30.
    • Registration/Uniform Fee $100.00  (Shirt, Short, and Socks)
    • 4 sessions a month 1x per week $120
    • 8 sessions a month 2x per week $240
