Freshmen entering the Class of 2025 have required Summer Reading for the English courses they will take during their first year at Father Ryan. These assignments are decided by the level of English the student will be taking.
Father Ryan uses a Microsoft Office 365 cloud-based platform that integrates technology into the classrooms. As part of this program, all students are required to bring a fully charged laptop* to school daily, beginning on the first day of school.
Important note: You do not need to purchase the Microsoft Office 365 Suite. Students will be given free access to the software during their time at Father Ryan.
*This 2:1 program will not allow Apple or Chromebook computers.
For a detailed list of laptop specifications and frequently asked questions, visit the Technology page at fatherryan.org/technology.
EdTech is our online bookstore. In late June, you will receive information in the mail regarding how to access the EdTech bookstore and all other textbook purchasing options and processes. If you have misplaced or lost your textbook letter, please contact Tammy Fogarty at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are interested in carpooling, fill out the survey form below by June 1. We'll compile the information and send you a list of families in your zip code by June 8 so you can connect with them and explore carpool options.
Father Ryan recognizes that parents are the first educators of their children. As such, your role in the education of your children cannot be underestimated. When you entrust your child to the Father Ryan Catholic community, you become partners with us in the formation of your child spiritually, academically and in every other way.
Parents assist us in many ways throughout the year through the Parent School Network (PSN).
