Father Ryan introduced Dual Enrollment courses to our curriculum beginning in the 2024-2025 school year. This addition to our academic program allows Father Ryan students to take college courses and earn college credit while still in high school.
Father Ryan currently offers seven Dual Enrollment courses, including Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Speech, Physics, and Spanish.
Father Ryan partnered with Trevecca University to offer Dual Enrollment courses in the Mathematics, World Languages & Cultures, Science, and English departments. The Tennessee Education Lottery Scholarship offers a Dual Enrollment grant providing funding for Dual Enrollment tuition and fees.
As Father Ryan continues to uphold its mission to be an experience of the living Gospel while challenging students to reach their spiritual, academic, and personal potential, pursuing new academic programs that support our personalized learning model allows us to provide the best possible academic experience for our students. Dual Enrollment courses are currently open to upperclassmen who fulfill the prerequisites defined by the course.
Students interested in participating in Father Ryan’s Dual Enrollment program will complete applications for each course with Father Ryan and Trevecca University and will apply for the Tennessee Dual Enrollment grant. Questions can be directed to our Director of Academic Counseling, Sarah Kieffner, at kieffners@fatherryan.org.
