Mission & Vision

Mission

Father Ryan's mission is to be an experience of the living Gospel while challenging students to reach their spiritual, academic, and personal potential.

Vision

Father Ryan seeks to be a superior Catholic high school, providing excellence in religious and moral formation, academics, athletics, and the arts while remaining accessible to those seeking an education in the Catholic Tradition.

Motto: A Tradition of Faith, Knowledge, Service

Tradition

Since 1925, Father Ryan has been rooted in strong traditions of Catholic faith, academic excellence, and hearts of service to challenge students to reach their spiritual, academic, and personal potential. For a century, Father Ryan has upheld these traditions, while evolving to meet the needs of our community.

Knowledge

Father Ryan offers its students 200+ courses at four levels (College Preparatory, Honors, High Honors, and Advanced Placement), as well as placement in smaller Cooperative Support classes, to ensure a successful transition to higher education.

Service

Service learning allows our students to link school-based knowledge with the experience of actively living the Gospel. It encourages students to take the teachings of Christ beyond the classroom, and by so doing, become actively engaged in their Catholic faith. It helps them to become other-centered in a culture that focuses primarily on the self.
