Project Graduation 2007 was a huge success - over 95% of the Class of 2007 gathered at the Field House to play games, win prizes, and party together all night long at the celebration sponsored by the wonderful Senior parents! Money was raised from Publix/Kroger/Harris Teeter card sales as well as from parent donations. All seniors who came received a door prize of dorm necessities such as blankets, towels, shelving, chairs, lamps, fans, CD-Rs, movie passes as well as gift certificates.

Every grad was given some "funny money" when they checked in - fake money to gamble with and use to buy raffle tickets. All had the opportunity to win more at games tables for poker, roulette, and blackjack. Also there were all kinds of games to win at: money booth, jousting, volleyball, four square and karaoke. For those mid-game hunger cravings, the food table was piled high with snacks, desserts, and hourly favorites such as buffalo wings, barbeque, and foot-long sandwiches.

Throughout the evening a DJ blasted the seniors with music to help keep the energy flowing - periodically he was interrupted to draw for door prizes and to award $50 cash to names pulled out of the reverse drawings as they whittled away in search of the ultimate winner.

Grads bought raffle tickets with their funny money to enter the 2 am, 3 am, and 4 am drawings for prizes such as DVD players, X-Boxes, palm pilots, digital cameras, computers, laptops, mini fridges and accessories, microwaves, and alarm clocks!
