Athletic Awards Night is designed to recognize all participants in all sports for the year, but it is also time to pay a special tribute to our senior athletes. All students and parents are invited - especially senior parents. Special awards will be given - the Father Fleming award which is the highest reward a senior athlete can receive at Fr. Ryan High School. It is given to recognize an outstanding athlete whose life off the field or court is a reflection Christian values and who serves as role models to others

"Footsie" award

The "Footsie" Lenahan Award

" Footsie" Lenahan was a long time supporter of Father Ryan athletics who loved being with the athletes and was best known for his willingess to do any task that was needed or requested by the teams or coaches. This award honors members of the Father Ryan community who best exemplify this spirit and make significant contributions to the Irish athletic program.

Fr. Ryan is proud to recognize Casha.

Alice Gentry Award

Alice Gentry Award

The Alice Gentry Award recognizes a young lady who is an outstanding senior athlete and known for leadership, her contributions to the team, and who serves as a role model to others.

This year's recipient is J Galster.

Leo Long award

Leo Long Awards

The Leo Long Award recognizes a young man who is an outstanding senior athlete and known for his leadership, his contributions to the team, and who serves as a role model to others.

W Thompson is the recipient for Basketball and T Quillin for Football.

Fr Fleming award

Reverend William J Fleming Awards

The Reverend William J Fleming is the highest reward a senior athlete can receive at Fr. Ryan High School. It is given to recognize an outstanding athlete whose life off the field or court is a reflection of Christian values and who serves as role models to others.

This year's recipients are D Forsythe and J Galster .

Director's Award

For Outstanding Contribution By Assistant Coaches

This is the third year for the "Director's Award" which honors assistant coaches who has made outstanding contributions to the athletic program at Fr. Ryan High School.

This year's recipient is Joe Coode.
