Congratulations to the varsity for returning the Bishop's Cup to Norwood Drive with an outstanding 35-0 win over JP II this past Friday night. Offensively, the Irish were led by senior running back, R Berry (rushed 21 times for 150 yards, 2 touchdowns). J Hayes (5 carries for 84 yards, and 1 touchdown) and quarterback J Guidry who added the other offensive touchdown for the Irish. He completed 5 passes for 68 yards, the longest of which was caught by T Obi for 37 yards. <p>

On defense, the Irish were led by K Mix who led all tacklers with 7 tackles and M Stoffer who recovered a fumble. Scoring for the defense was C Osborne as the Irish forced JPII's Tate to fumble the ball which Osborne landed on in the endzone for the last Irish touchdown. Will Mix had the lone sack of the game for the Irish.
