Service Opportunities
Father Ryan continually encourages students to participate in service as part of our mission to be a living example of the Gospels. We value education experiences outside the classroom and through partnerships within the local community; we present a multitude of opportunities in which Father Ryan can serve.

Students who are seeking service hours are welcome to volunteer at any of the following organizations. If you have suggestions for community service, please contact the Theology Department or Tim Forbes, Dean of Campus Ministry and Student Life.

Please remember during the summer months, rising juniors may not complete their service hour requirement. All juniors must perform their hours during the school. Rising freshman and sophomores who would like to work on their service hours may want to call the Office of Campus Ministry to determine if their hours would meet Father Ryan's requirements. Most projects listed on the Hands on Nashville web site (hon.org) are acceptable, but will need to be preapproved.

If you are looking for a sustainable service project and like working with people, please come to Campus Ministry. The office is coordinating working with the homeless at Room in Inn on some evenings. See Mr. McGee upstairs in Guidance for more information.
