Endowment Fund
While the Annual Fund might be thought of as the "checking account" for day-to-day operations, the Endowment Fund would be the "savings account." This general Endowment Fund ensures that Father Ryan has a permanent source of operating revenue. Gifts are made to the school and only the earnings are applied to expenses.
Endowment for Tuition Assistance is a permanent source of financial aid to Father Ryan students. Gifts are made to the school and families are awarded need-based financial aid from the earnings each year.
These are opportunities for you and your family to invest in the ministry of Catholic education while helping subsidize a student's tuition. Your gift assists us in shaping a strong future for Father Ryan and helps us to meet the financial needs of a diverse student body.
Donors have the opportunity to establish a named scholarship as a living tribute or in memoriam. Funds may be named to memorialize a deceased family member or friend, or to honor a living family member or friend. They may also be named for a teacher, corporation, or organization, or they can commemorate a special birthday, anniversary, or achievement.
Father Ryan also has several existing named endowment funds to which donors may give. To learn more information about these existing funds, visit our Academics Scholarship Page.
A named Endowed Fund is established with a gift or pledge of $50,000 or more. The school will invest the gift in the Father Ryan High School Endowment Fund and the earnings from the interest will be used annually for student assistance in accordance with the provisions of the fund. Additional funding can be added to the principal at any time, thereby increasing the amount of the award.
