Log on to PowerSchool
1. If you click on the average for a class, it will direct you to a listing of your student’s actual grades (homework, quizzes, tests, etc.). This is very helpful in terms of determining if missing assignments are a problem.
2. When you see the listing of your student’s assignments, you may see an entry that looks like this: - -/100. If there is a double dash before the number, it may mean the teacher has not yet posted the grade. I would be sure to ask your student about it to ensure that he/she has submitted it, but your main concern should be if there is a zero in the entry, not a double dash.
3. If a particular grade (test, homework, quiz) is highlighted in blue, click on it. There is usually a teacher comment about the grade that they want you to read.
