About Father Ryan
As a Catholic diocesan high school established in 1925, Father Ryan’s mission is to be an experience of the living Gospel while challenging students to reach their spiritual, academic and personal potential. Since its founding, Father Ryan High School has been the preeminent source of quality Catholic education for the people of Nashville and its surrounding communities.
Father Ryan serves over 900 students and more than 10,000 alumni worldwide. Holding dual accreditation from SACS and SAIS, the school offers over 150 different courses in four levels, plus a wide array of extra-curriculars in the fine arts, athletics, service and academics.
Father Ryan's educational experience extends beyond school grounds to a setting that is inclusive of all sections and demographics of the community. By providing opportunities in all arenas for leadership and service, we enable students and faculty to reach their fullest potential. We believe in appreciating the worth and value of each person and creating an environment of personal development that encompasses the whole person, spiritually, intellectually, physically and emotionally.
