Forty seven Tennessee Titans as well as familiar names such as Derrick Mason assembled at Father Ryan for the start of a two-day major workout for the players. Organized by Titans CB Cortland Finnegan, the workout included recent 1st round pick Jake Locker and an array of Titans for individual drills, 7 on 7 work and specialty instruction at Giacosa Stadium in the Jim Carell Alumni Athletic Complex. Father Ryan's coaches ran the practices and all the players were outfitted in Father Ryan shirts.
Media including NFL Network, ESPN, WSMV, WTVF,WKRN, WZTV and The Tennessean and City Paper are covering the two days. Athletics Director Pat Lawson '93 said the players have been very appreciative of the facilities and the opportunity to work out at Father Ryan. About a dozen Titans have been working out on the turf over the last month.
