The Father Ryan Respect Life Club sponsors a day of prayer for the unborn each year in January on the anniversary of the Supreme Court decision on Roe vs. Wade. This year white ribbons will be given to students to wear to in memory of the 38,640,001 babies killed by abortion since 1973. Classes are invited to visit the chapel during the day for reflective prayer and to light candles to help remind us that life is a sacred gift from God. Below are two prayers from Words to Live By by Mother Teresa.

hange your hearts... Unless we change our hearts we are not converted. Changing places is not the answer. The answer is to change our hearts. And how do we change? By praying. The most important thing to do to change my heart is confession. After confession, holy communion. And then I am full of peace.		rayer is joy prayer is love prayer is peace. You cannot explain it you must experience prayer. It is not impossible. God gives it for the asking. "Ask and you shall receive." The father knows what to give his children -how much more our heavenly Father knows.
