Tuesday, September 12, FRHS celebrated its opening school liturgy with a special installation ceremony for the new principal, Mr. Jack Langton. Special guests included priests from the Nashville diocese, members of the Board of Trust, parochial school principals, and heads of other independent schools. The liturgy was presided over by the Reverend Bishop Kmiec.

Students assumed roles of leadership as eucharistic ministers, lectors, and gift bearers. Students in the Folk Group, musicians from the band, as well as the Father Ryan Singers shared their gifts of music throughout the liturgy; special songs for the ceremony included a communion meditation song, Go Light Your World was sung by Emily Strand who has been Mr. Kenny's substitute.
