Kent Honored by US Bank
Kent is honored Last month, with Channel 4 news cameras rolling, English teacher Robert Kent received the US Bank High School Star award in his classroom; senior M Hassell wrote to the television station recommending Kent for the award.

   They Did It Again!

Congratulations to the marching band who won the Mayor's Cup at the Music City Invitational for the 4th straight year! In the small division, the Fr Ryan placed 1st overall: the drumline was 1st, the guard was 2nd, and C Fenoglio scored 1st as the field commander. The drumline won the Row-Loff percussion Challenge Cup for the 8th straight year! The band will head to Florida this weekend to compete in the St Petersburg's Bands of America competition. Roll, pride, roll!
Ryan Scholars Recognized

The National Merit Scholarship program has recognized the following Fr Ryan students based on their performance on the PSAT: T Duggan and P Kelly, National Merit Semi-Finalists; R Burch, L Clunan, R Floyd, L Murphy, C Rocha, D Sugg, and M Rymer, National Merit Commended Students; and R Floyd, National Achievement Scholarship Semi-Finalist. Congratulations to all!
PSN Family Dances

The Parent School Network hosted the annual Mother & Son and Father & Daughter dances this weekend with a theme of "An Opening Night". The committee rolled out the "red carpet" as they decorated the field house with a red carpet entry, lights, roses, and baby Oscar statues. Parents and their dates filled the dance floor as they danced to "YMCA", the "Macarana", "The Electric Slide", and much, much more. MOMS & SONS»  DADS & DAUGHTERS»
