TRI Champions!  Competing against eleven fantastic bands from the area, Father Ryan swept all award categories and claimed the 2007 TRI Championship. Father Ryan was awarded Best Music, Best Visual, Best Effect, Best Percussion, and Best Auxiliary in finals competition regardless of class. The Irish will travel this weekend to participate in a BOA regional competition in St Petersburg, FL. BAND HOMEPAGE» Magazine Drive Success!  It didn't seem possible but the Irish brought in enough money in one day to push them over their goal to earn an extra day off at spring break! Congratulations to Mr Chamber's 5th period for being the top raising class....

911 Prayer Service 
On the anniversary of the September 11th attacks in Washington, New York, and the attack in the air over Pennsylvania, Father Ryan gathered at for prayer service to honor those who gave their lives and to pray for those who survived or were victimized by the attacks.

Testing Day, 10/17  On Wednesday, 10/17, all juniors, sophomores, and freshmen will be involved in taking national standardized tests. Since all high school students have to take either the ACT or the SAT in order to be admitted to college, students have three opportunities to take practice tests.

Ahoy Matey!  Move over Johnny Depp -- Captain Jesse and his mum set sail with all the other Irish pirates to the annual Mother / Son and Father / Daughter dances over the weekend!

Opening School Mass  On Thursday, 9/6, the Father Ryan community officially kicked off the school year with a mass presided by Bishop Choby and fellow alumni priests Fathers Pat Connor, Philip Breen, Mike Johnston, Joe Breen and Steven Wolfe along with Father Mark Hunt. After the homily, the teachers, eucharistic and music ministers were commissioned in their roles. COMING SOON»
Freshman Night Freshman Night, held Saturday, 8/18, was an opportunity for the Baby Irish of 2011 to learn some of the traditions of Father Ryan, to meet some new classmates and to begin to develop a spirit of class unity. The evening began at 4:30 pm and wrapped up with mass and a dance. CONTINUED» Clubs and Groups  Mr Forbes has posted the 2007 list of Clubs and Groups for this year! The clubs fair will be in early September!
