FRHS College Spotlight
Fr Ryan seniors and juniors had the opportunity to visit with college reps from a plethora of higher education institutions at this year's College Spotlight.

Opening School Mass  Fr Ryan faculty, staff, and students gathered with Diocesan Administrator Fr Choby to celebrate the opening school mass and the installation of the eucharistic ministers. CONTINUED»
Integrity Code Assemblies  Academic Dean Sara Hayes and English Department Chair Randy Lancaster presented an assembly highlighting the Father Ryan Integrity code to all students on Tuesday, 9/6.
Hey, Freshmen!
The Class of 2009 gathered last Saturday night for Freshman Night! This was an opportunity for our Baby Irish to learn some of the traditions of Father Ryan, to meet some of their new classmates, and to begin to develop a spirit of class unity. The evening began at with ice breakers and wrapped up with a dance.

Ryan Scholars Recognized The National Merit Scholarship program has recognized the following Fr Ryan students based on their performance on the PSAT: T Duggan and P Kelly, National Merit Semi-Finalists; R Burch, L Clunan, R Floyd, L Murphy, C Rocha, D Sugg, and M Rymer, National Merit Commended Students; and R Floyd, National Achievement Scholarship Semi-Finalist. Congratulations to all!
PSN Family Dances The Parent School Network hosted the annual Mother & Son and Father & Daughter dances this weekend with a theme of "An Opening Night". The committee rolled out the "red carpet" as they decorated the field house with a red carpet entry, lights, roses, and baby Oscar statues. Parents and their dates filled the dance floor as they danced to "YMCA", the "Macarana", "The Electric Slide", and much, much more. MOMS & SONS» DADS & DAUGHTERS»
Activities & Clubs Fair
The Student Activities Fair was held during break and all lunches on Friday, 9/9, in the courtyard. There were plenty of clubs to choose from such as the Spanish Club, Irish Service Corps, the Outdoors Club, Thespian Society, and many, many more!

Magazine Sale Kicks Off! 
The annual Magazine Drive kickoff assembly was on Tuesday, 9/13. This is the one fund raising event that all students are encouraged to participate in: money raised goes into student class accounts and student council budget.

Parent-Teacher Meetings  The past two weeks parents have had the opportunity to meet their students' teachers. The evening started in the theater; parents were welcomed by members of the PSN and Principal Jim McIntyre. Then they followed their students' schedule to meet their teachers and advisors.
