map of Costa Rica Get out your globe and search down south of Mexico to find Costa Rica - 18 Fr Ryan students and 5 adults just returned from a 11-day expedition of ecological and cultural experiences: ziplining in a rain forest, beach patrol with nesting turtles, observing an active volcano, and helping paint a local school were just a few of the activities that filled their days!

A highlight of the trip was an audience with Pope John Paul II.

Faculty Golden Grads

Honoring those who teach Congratulations to Jim Langdon and John Gorham who had their 50th "Golden Grad" class reunion earlier this month - they were classmates at Fr Ryan in 1954! Each was also given a rocking chair at the 2004 teacher recognition luncheon: Mr Langdon just finished his 40th year of teaching here and Mr Gorham is retiring after 36 years of teaching and coaching at Ryan. Thanks for everything!
