Speech & Drama Tourney 
Over the weekend, five Ryan students competed in the Tennessee High School Speech and Drama League State Tournament. Congrats to E Schoen, the 2008 State Champion in Dramatic Interpretation. K Wohl placed 4th in the state for Poetry Interpretation and J Sharp who placed 2nd in the state for Solo Acting (she actually tied for 1st and the decision was decided by the slimmest of margins.)
Math Day '08  Sixth, seventh and eight graders from around the parochial schools spent an afternoon at Father Ryan participating in Math Day 2008. CONTINUED» The Superlatives 
The Brightest, the Wittiest, the Most Likely to Succeed - the Senior Superlatives for the Class of 2008! THE WINNERS ARE...» Mommy & Me Time 
Senior J Holzmer and her mother along with many other mothers and daughters attended the the Mother & Daughter Brunch on Saturday, 3/1, which was hosted by the PSN. This year's speaker was Debbie Binkley, Manager of The Friends Shop at The Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, who spoke on and previewed spring fashion trends.

State Champions  Congratulations to the Wrestling team who are Co-Champions for the DII State Wrestling tournament. Individual champions are junior P Marchetti, soph W Wesley, senior K Mix, senior S Clanton, and two-time winner senior Z Herrmann!

Drumline Off to Europe 
Although their plane tickets say their flight will last over seven hours, the Winter Drumline will perform their 2008 show, "7 Countries in 7 Minutes", while in Europe for 12 days!

Milli Vanilli (a lip-sync contest) took place on Monday, 1/21. A chance for all those "pretend" singers and dancers out there to get up and lip synch their favorite songs!
