New Football Named
Bruce Lussier Bruce Lussier (pronounced Loo-shur) has been hired as the head varsity football coach for next year. Lussier has been the head coach of the Oak Ridge Football Wildcats since 1999.    PRESS RELEASE»

Fr Ryan and Pearl High School coaches, players, and refs reunite On January 4, 1965, Pearl High School and Fr Ryan launched a new era for athletics when they met competed against each other at Municipal Auditorium. CONTINUED»
   Fashion Show
Fashion Show Fr Ryan presented the 4th Annual "Rock-n-the Runway" Fashion Show on Sunday, 2/12, on the stage in the theater. Juniors and Seniors were treated to the latest fashions for Prom (dresses & tuxs) and had many opportunities to win awesome door prizes! CONTINUED»

The Parent School Network will host the Mother/Daughter Brunch on Saturday, 3/5, from 9-11 am in the Dining Hall. The guest speaker is Ashley McElhiney, coach of the Nashville Rhythm and former Vanderbilt basketball star. Ms EcElhiney will speak starting at 9am so come early to get a good sea!


Catholic Schools Week
Faith in every student: Catholic Schools Last week was Catholic Schools Week - a celebration of the faith we share as a community! Along with an out-of-uniform day, and Fr Ryan trivia questions, several alumni faculty members offered their reflections: Paula Jackson, Pat Langdon, Randy Lancaster, Robert Jemison, and Rex Bowman. White Ribbons for Life

newborn baby - 1 day old The Respect Life Club has tied white ribbons all around campus to represents the sacredness of human life and our call to respect life "from womb to tomb". Here are a few facts to think about:
  • everyone begins as a separate single cell
  • nothing is added but oxygen and nutrition
  • one cell will become 200 million cells before birth
  • a human lives about nine months in the womb and decades outside of it
  • this person has never existed before and will never exist again  (from Chronicle of a New Life)

    Father & Son Breakfast

    This year's Father & Son breakfast was a success this past Saturday, 1/22. Fathers and sons filled the Dining Hall to eat, visit, and listen to speaker George Plaster from the Sports Zone. CONTINUED»

    Milli Vanilli Winners
    Sister Act 2 wins the contest Congratulations to Sister Act, S Dunning and C Sanders, who performed to a full house at the Milli Vanilli lip-sync contest and won the $200 first place prize on Monday night. Some of the other acts included the Spice Girls, Boyz 2 Men, Stevie Wonder, and Vanilla Ice. CONTINUED»
