Remember that you are dust and unto dust you shall return
Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent and the students and faculty gathered for an Ash Wednesday Prayer Service. There are numerous things that you can do during Lent from giving up a favorite something to performing a good deed. The Student Council organized a Day of Service today and a group of 70 students went to work on a variety of service projects. Classes will also be sponsoring a penny drive competition - collection buckets are in the dining hall and the library.

Mother & Daughter Brunch
The Parent School Network will host the Mother & Daughter Brunch on Saturday, 3/3, from 9-11 am in the Dining Hall. The cost is $20 per family - reservations/payment deadline is Friday, 2/23 to the main office. This year’s speaker is Fred Clarke, Inernational Red Cross Photographer. His talk and slide show will illustrate humanitarian issues from an angle not always seen in mainstream media. His photography is currently on display at the Zietgeist Gallery and he is speaking at Vanderbilt in a couple of weeks.
