On the 20th of January, 2007, the annual Father and Son Breakfast was held in the dining hall. The room was packed to the brim with fathers and their sons enjoying a breakfast of eggs, bacon, sauage and biscuits.

This year the guest speaker was a Father Ryan parent, Frank Wycheck, a former tight end for the Tennessee Titans. Mr. Wycheck is probably best known for receiving more than 500 passes, one of only five players in NFL history and has also been to the Pro Bowl twice. He also played a big role in the Music City Miracle play in 2000. He is currently a sports-talk radio host on 104.5 The Zone.
