The Dining Hall was overflowing on Saturday morning, 1/22, but it wasn't due to the enthusiasm of spending the morning with Mr Puryear in Saturday detention! It was the annual Father & Son Breakfast sponsored by the Parent School Network. Over 200 fathers and sons gathered for a breakfast fit for a king: eggs, bacon, hash browns, grits, biscuits and gravy, and much more!

Guest speaker George Plaster from the Sports Zone spoke about how fortunately he felt to be able to find a job that he loves doing. He started announcing at sports events in high school and one of his first announcing jobs in college was for Fr Ryan home football games at West End Middle School. Living in Nashville, he supports the local teams from Vandy to the Predators. Students and parents asked questions ranged from the hockey lockout to whether the Titans would have a good 2005 season.

Everyone had plenty to eat and a great time!
