Fr. Ryan Christmas Concert

Kicking of the season with a little bit of holiday cheer , the Father Ryan Singers, the Percussion Ensemble classes, and Concert Band performed their annual Christmas concert on Thursday, December 6, in the Center for the Arts.

Under the direction of Becky Young, the Father Ryan Singers started off the program with "Christmas Fanfare" and were accompanied by C Green on trumpet. Their next selections included "Before the Marvel of This Night" and "A Thousand Stars". The favorite Irish tune "Christmas in Killarney" with solo by C Stockard (accompanied by W Sugg on flute) and "Carols Around" wrapped up their portion of the program.

Percussion Ensemble A

Next started the instrument portion of the program which was under the leadership of band directors Jeff Schletzer, Jereme Frey, Joe Jones, and Derek Schletzer. The Percussion Ensemble classes performed "Angels We Have Heard On High" and an arrangement of "O Christmas Tree".

After the Percussion Ensemble, the Father Ryan Concert Band took center stage and wrapped up the evening as they played a trio of Christmas tunes: "The Rhythms of Christmas", "Christmas Classics", and everyone's favorite, "Sleigh Ride".
