A note from the College Counseling Department:
REMEBER PARENTS: College Board emphasizes that the best preparation for the SAT is to take challenging academic courses and to work hard in them. Extensive reading will also increase a student's vocabulary and comprehension skills. To insure that students are prepared for a college academic curriculum and for success on college admission exams (ACT and SAT), the best thing you can do is to insist that they enroll in the most challenging curriculum appropriate for them. Students must establish a strong academic work ethic while they are in high school if they are to be successful in college.

: This site contains information on learning more about test taking skills
for the ACT and SAT.
